ABOUT US

Muslim Community School (MCS) was established in 1984 and is a State of Maryland certified and accredited private educational institution. MCS is committed to excellence and maintaining the highest possible educational standards. We believe that children learn best in a caring, supportive environment where every student is given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and experience success.

At MCS we aim to provide a well-rounded education that nurtures our students' intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions. Moreover, the educational philosophy of MCS is deeply rooted in the Quran and is shaped around the following verse:

"My Lord! Grant me knowledge that is useful (beneficial to mankind)."
(Holy Quran 20:114)
